Pizza Inn, Inc. Acquires Land, Begins Construction of New Headquarters

Pizza Inn, Inc. today completed its acquisition of approximately 11 acres in the Austin Ranch Development, The Colony, Texas, for the construction of the Company's new headquarters. The new facility will be in the northern section of Austin Ranch along Plano Parkway just south of SH 121 and will contain 140,000 square feet for its corporate office, training test kitchen center and its distribution facility. The building project, being managed by Billingsley Development Company, is expected to be completed next summer.

Ronnie Parker, President of Pizza Inn stated, "The business synergies which will result from consolidating our various service center operations into one location better positions our Company to meet future expansion expectations. Pizza Inn, Inc. is the franchisor and food distributor for 479 Pizza Inn restaurants operating in the U.S. and other countries. Austin Ranch is a 1,900-acre development of Billingsley Company planned for corporate campuses, commercial office, multi-family residential and retail uses. Pizza Inn represents one of the first corporate headquarters at the development. Austin Ranch is expected to contain over 12 million square feet of office space, and over 40,000 employees.
